On June 6, 2018, the Soyuz MS-09 transport manned spacecraft launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome and on June 8 docked with the ISS. The semiannual space expedition of the crew began as part of cosmonaut Sergei Prokopyev (ROSKOSMOS); astronauts Alexander Gersta (ESA) and Serine Aunion-Chancellor (NASA).
